Why tabLION?
Our goal is to encourage more people to be thoughtful about what it is that they believe, and then to unpack these beliefs while being immersed in the truth and wisdom of God’s Word. The aim is to be in God’s word, share God’s Word, and live out God’s Word.
Many people stop learning Bible stories once they graduate from Sunday School (which means those who do not grow up in the church may never learn the Bible stories in any systematic or wholistic way) and, instead, are limited to fragmented and disconnected accounts of the Biblical narrative as is limited by Sunday sermons and random Bible studies. Furthermore, our faith formation is impacted by unique contextual (and possibly heretical) nuances of our upbringing that need to be examined, questioned, and perhaps even challenged. How can Christians be equipped to live out a life that they, themselves, do not know the details of? How much time do we actually spend thinking about and processing our beliefs, the very beliefs that form our lives?
